Make up tips
Eye shadow looks brighter if you dip your brush in water first as long as you don’t try to mix your shades together which will make your eyes look a bit mushy.
To make sure your eyeliner is smoother, draw a series of dashes along your lids as close as you can to the lashes. Then join them up together.
To make sure that two eye shadows will look good together, dab both on the back of your hand and blend with a finger tip.
If your mascara thickens and you need to use the last bit, put the whole tube into very warm water for a minute or so and make sure it is tightly closed. It will loosen the mascara and thin it so you can use it until the very last drop.
Blend your shadows with a brush, not a sponge or your finger. Brushes pick up less colour so you can be more exact and can
easily switch between shades. Essentials mag’s beauty consultant suggests you try The Body Shop Mineral Eye Shadow Brush.
